The first handphone that I had is Nokia 3100 I think, I bought it when I was 15. At that time, hand phones is a trend. Many of the student carries them to school showing off to one another the latest model we had. Nokia was very popular at that time, though it in mono color, but we have all the basic functions of composing your favourite ring tones, messaging, calling etc.

As days goes by, we can see colorful images, we also started using GPRS / WIFI to surf net. The technology has become so handy that it allows us to check emails, read news articles as well as watching YouTube wherever you are. It has indeed become more functional, convenient and interactive.

In these days, we have 3G and 4G coming up. I'm using iPhone. It has many applications which is either free, affordable or pricey. I'm lucky to get one that is 'breakable' where I'm able to have a trial with games or applications.

Let me share with you some of my favorite applications from the AppStore.

tranSGuide - I like this application. I'm able to check how long my bus is arriving and also the route for the bus number. Especially after I knock off from work, there are so many bus that I can take to go home. The sad thing is that it is only available for translink service, no luck for SMART passengers...
Facebook - I can check all my friends' status, post / reply comments or even update my status wherever I am.
eBuddy - This comes in handy when I'm not at my desk, I can always MSN while lying on my comfortable bed!
WhatsApp - SMS quota too little provided by teleco service? Use WhatsApp, it allows us to message our friend just like MSN, and most importantly it is FREE! The disadvantage is that only iPhone users are allowed to send to one another.
.977 Music - No radio functions in the handphone? Tire of current playlist? .977 Music is free, it is an online radio which can be installed on your iPhone.

Besides having these applications, google also allows me to sync my contacts and calendar to my iPhone. All these are really convenient, now I can say Bye Bye to my planner. Though information were stored in the phone, with iTunes sync, our information can be backup to our pc. It will be easier to retrieve all contacts and information if in any case your iPhone is formatted. 3 Cheers to iPhone. WeeeEEeeeEe!

2010 Chinese New Year in Kampong Koh, Sitiawan

Went back to Sitiawan to spend my Chinese New Year over there, it has always been our usual routine. This time back, cinema were renovated. This is the first cinema I visited, and it is the 'One and Only One' cinema in Sitiawan. There are a number of new cafe opened with WIFI.

Old town is one of the cafe I visited, it is just besides the GIANT supermarket. We also have Old Town in Singapore opened by Mark Wong. There are also other cafe like 'Uncle John' and 'Sunlight'.

The days in Sitiawan can only be describe with one word, HOT! It is just too hot over there as the place is situated above the earth equator at the west of Malaysia. Click here to see where is Sitiawan

Let's see some of the photos I've taken around the neighbourhood. We stayed at Kampong Koh, it a mixture of malays, indians and chinese. But I think it a malay kampong. You can also find some products made from Kampong Koh like chili sauce. http://www.kampongkoh.com.my/

Most of the kids here knows how to ride motorbike, the big field in front is the place where we watch fire works on the 30th of lunar calendar.

There are some parts of kampong Koh where you can find better houses.

This stretch is the place where new houses were just developed. Some of them were bought while some of them are still on sales.

On the 30th Lunar calendar, everyone come out from their house waiting. Some people prepared their firecrackers ready for count down, while the others came out to enjoy the atmosphere of Chinese New Year.
This is the field I mentioned earlier. Most people gather around to see the fireworks.

Last time, there are no such big fireworks, we play with small ones that some rotates on the floor with colorful lights.As the field is like a stadium size, I think it is more than 400m per round. You can see fireworks from different directions. Whenever there are fireworks which has the loudest bombs and design, people will start to focus the new one. Now the place is also popular with 'Kong Ming Deng' where people wrote down their wishes on the latern and set off into the sky. I thought it is only popular in Taiwan. Well, people does know how to earn money there.

During the day time, we did go to temples to pray. One of the place we go is '陳六公廟' at '二條路'. This area is one of the place I used to visit when I was young. I like the place as the houses were mainly built by wood and zinc rooftop. I like the old feeling of that place. This statue is new one.

I want to take this picture like as if you are at very sacred place, but I guess I failed. haha

This is call 'Moi Moi', it a kind of bread with our normal favor of kaya and butter.

Then while the rest drink coffee, I took some pictures outside after a heavy rain.

Kampong Acheh is the best roti prata stall you can find in Sitiawan.The siting is limited, you have to come early to chop a place. If not, you have to wait for your turn! The stall is built above land and swamp. During low tides, farmer come here to dig 'Lala', a kind of clam which you can find in the market. Check out my previous post where I have actually go down bare footed to dig!

WooW~ Today I walk down to Admiraty Park. Took some pictures~ Kinda Tiring. It is just beside Republic Poly. Quite hard to hunt down bugs and insects to shoot.

HSBC Treetop walk

his is the second time I went up the HSBC treetop, thanks to Affandi, we took a shorter way to go up the treetop. Nevertheless, the walk is still exhausting. It took us only 5 minutes to finish the bridge, it windy up there and it a hot sunny day. After completing our treetop, we went up the tower (I can't remember the name of it) after walk 1km I think. From the treetop, we walk our way back to the main entrance where the car park is. I think we walk around 5km in total on that day.

It not as bad compared to the first time I went, because we walk from the main entrance all the way to the treetop. Stopping every minute and then to take pictures, it 4.2km to reach HSBC treetop. Then, after completing the treetop, we make our way down and I think we somehow lost our ways. I only know we were walking on tar mac road and luckily there's a big comfort cab and we just hopped in. Phew, my legs we breaking the first time I went. So.. The second trip is not as tiring as what I expected. Phew~

Uniform Theme Party on 2010 New Year Eve

Oh my, another party. This time our theme is Uniform Party @ Ascott Hotel around Raffles Place. Hotel room is bigger and I find it nicer than Naumi. Everyone were dressed differently. I borrowed my mum's colleague's chef clothes. On that day I'm a chef! Glad that most of us were able to come down and celebrate new year eve together. We recorded video and also took lots of pictures. It is really fun. Fireworks were nice, but sadly there were constructions going on, if not the view would be alot better.

Early Xmas Xchange, Pajamas Slumber Party @ Naumi

We had fun dressing ourselves with pajamas. Many grilled chicken wings prepared, and I want to thank all my friends who organize this party and the rest who made the effort to come down and enjoy this wonderful event. Everyone enjoyed the gifts exchange session and I got myself a pair of speaker as well as voucher from Teng and Lin. This is the first time we organized this event. Took many pictures. The room is big with more than 40 inch tv and a lounge. Luckily I went to bed early and have myself chopped a place. Late comers, just too bad~

Teeth falling out in your dream

Ever dreamed that your teeth fall out during one of your dream? Well I have. Days ago, I visited the dentist to have my teeth polished. The dentist is not very optimised due to the situation where my gum keeps bleeding. The dentist warn me of health problems that might have trigger such situation to happen.

That week when I had my teeth polished, I dreamed that my teeth were falling out. I hate this dream when I wake up the next morning, I have goosebumps on my arms and would feel that everything seems so real. This is not the first time I dreamed my teeth fall out during my dream. Every time the incident looks and feel so real. Luckily back to reality, all of them stays where they belong to.

Dinner @ The Vista Bistro

I'm working at Eunos, going down to Playground @ Big Splash - East Coast Park is quite near. My favourite meal is always the Pork Rack. I love the apples toppings. As we all know that an apple is white when cut. These apples were cut into cubes and they were red like rubies. It very sweet and juicy.

I like the mashed potato that goes with the pork. They were made traditionally from blended potatoes and handmade which is unlike those in KFC. Well I didn't mean that the potato from KFC is not nice, I still love them.

Green Crystal. Special drinks the service manager made. Under low lightings, we are still able to see the crystal green liquid wit cherry at the bottom. It mint flavor. I personally don't like mint flavor unless I'm using Darlie toothpaste.

Sentosa Trip with Secondary School Frenz

Can't remember when is the last time I've been to sentosa. Many upgrading and construction sites on my way on the tram. To reach Palawang Beach has been alot easier compared to 5 years ago where we took bus services with a couple of stops. The current tram service only has 4 stops, and I miss the old days where the monorail is slow and we were allowed to sight seeing with no windows to obstruct our view.

Though not everyone came, but we did enjoy volley ball, frisby, Girls in Bikinis and hunks. It was quite depressing that it started to rain when we took the tram. Lucky the dark clouds started to clear off after we had cleared our food feast and lots of wine. *Thanks to a few drinkaholic in the group.* HAHA

A little tips on fishing

This few years, I've come to like fishing as one of my leisure activity. I always went to Sembawang Park to fish Silver Sillago or Silver Sand Whiting (Hokkien-Swa Jiam). These were small fishes and they were edible. They are relatively small in sizes, usually we deep fried them and they apprea golden crispy at dinner time, by the way, they are delicious. *Chuckle*

During my first attempt, I have trouble throwing out the bait. We normally use prawn as the bait, and every time I throw, the prawn fly out of the fishing bait. Do not think that fishing is easy, they actually requires some technique and skills to throw out correctly without losing your prawn. I find that this activity is challenging and testing your patience. Do not think that these fishes only knows how to eat, they are in fact quite smart!

After you have throw out the bait, you will need to reel in your fishing line once a while. You will eventually know when the fish is eating the bait, this is because you can feel your rod vibrating! This is so cool, then you may want to pull your rod a little, hoping you can catch that fish! Then, every time you reel in the line, you can feel the hooked fish trying to swim away. (Depending on the size of the fish, they may have greater strength to swim off. You may have to pull harder) But, this is where the patience comes in, don't be overjoyed that you had actually caught a fish. This is because during the process of reeling back the line, there are still chances where the fish will swim off. In this case either the line break, or the fish were off the hook. Only when you successfully pull the fish off the hook, then only you can clap your hands and celebrate.

Though I may not have such experience compare to those fisher, since I only go fishing for around 6-7 trips, but I did realize that during cold days, the Silver Sillago don't eat your bait. Only during a hot day, these fishes tends to swim nearer to the shore, and they seems more hungry. So, before going out the trip, do check the weather and water tides. You can find this useful web @ http://app2.nea.gov.sg/index.aspx . We are not fishing big fishes nor do we have shelters, just some small fishes here and limited equipment. Do take note that you can fish up to 3 hours, so better prepare yourself with sun block or long shirt or pants to protect yourself from being cooked by the burning sun

Hmm currently I am quite free, waiting for my UOW result. Got my iphone and started playing farm frenzy, really can go crazy. It a nice game and it quite challenging.

Besides exploring my iphone, I import my blogger's blog to wordpress and design a little with blog's header.

Recently went to Hong Kong in 1 Aug - 5 Aug 2009, we book our hotel at Kow Loong. This is one of the picture I took at the streets.

Visited Macau's St Paul College Cathedral christian church

Went looking for toilet at this specific casino, it outter structure looks like a pineapple.

We have durian in Singapore - The Esplanade, and they have pinepapple in Macau - Grand Lisboa Casino.

Went to Genting's casino before. They were a little different as Lisboa is quite new and customers usually play their game with the machines. I didn't had my chance to play.

We finally reach Venetian Hotel in Macau where the F4 Korean shoot their drama

Visited Disney. It a very nice place, just don't visit in summer, the weather is just TOO HOT!!! Alot of Disney gifts to buy and look at, and it not cheap.

Woah~ The Music start and everyone is dancing on the street. Interesting part is.. their music were in chinese. But still.. it very enjoyable

Loads and loads of Mickey Mouse stuffed toys. I chose to take my time and took pictures inside. Cos there's air con~~ It too hot outside >.<

A must visit place is 'The Peak. The night scenery is pretty and it very windy~

When you are in Hong Kong, you'll realise that their town, air port, places of interest resides at one side of the country. I've never been to other parts of Hong Kong. Their MRT - (also the same for MRT in Singapore) are quite different from ours. People can be seen eating in trains, and their stations' maps are complicated as well.

Don't forget to take picture with Obama~I think it the latest wax at Madamme Tussauds. You have to pay for an amount in order to take picture with him. Well.. the rest are included in the entrance ticket.

The previous trip we had was at Bintan, we had a great time. It time to plan for the next outing as well.

Aww there's so much things to do and so little time, till now I haven't have my shower. Haha. My iphone is waiting for me, I shall continue blogging next time.

Did you ever sleep walk before?

One fine morning, my uncle asked me : "You have something to ask me last night?" and I replied to him that I dont' remember asking him anything. But he told me that I pester him, showing and pointing my palm to him "What is This?".
This incident happen after everyone have gone to bed, I guess it is during the middle of the night. Seriously I don't remember anything, and I don't remember asking him any questions. So, I asked him what exactly did I asked. He was not sure what I wanted to ask, as I kept showing and pointing to my palm. It was then that I realise I sleep walk that night. This incident happened when I'm still a kid attending primary school.
So you think this happen only once? Nope, I had it the second time. On the second time I sleep walk, I didn't prompt any questions to anyone. Again, it happen when I was in primary school. It was in the morning that I heard the news from my mum. She told me why are you hugging the carpet so tightly in the middle of the night?
Back then, I don't have any clues why I am doing it. why I hugged a smelly carpet where everyone's foot had actually stepped over it. It is my worst nightmare to actually hugged a carpet. *Gosh!
Now recently, I remember that after I went to bed. The phone rang in the living room. The ringing of the phone is irritating, so usually I will pick up the phone so that I can go back to my bed peacefully. I know I was very sleepy that night, so I decided to go and pick up the call. I was semi-concious as I know what I am going to do next. But the shocking things that I did was not picking up the phone, I actually went to the switch in my bedroom and trying to turn it off as I thought I am turning off the phone.
I kept switching the switch on and off, on and off, and I wonder why the phone still keeps ringing. After a while, the phone stop ringing and then finally I can go back to sleep. The next morning, my mum asked me why am I playing with the switch last night. Well, I told her that the phone keeps ringing and it is irritating. Then she told me she is the one who picks up the phone.
Don't ask me why I am playing with the switch, I certainly has no idea why I am doing it. But I did remember that I want to stop the phone from ringing, and I also remember that I DID touch the switch as if I want to off the phone from ringing. -__- It seems like the switch has become the phone, did I sleep walk again? I not too sure.

The Chewing Gum Story

Remember what our parents used to tell us when we were young? The chewing gum cannot be swallowed, and it will turn out real bad if you ever swallowed one.
I remember during my primary school days, I like to chew chewing gum. This is because we kids like to compete with one another on whoever can blow the biggest bubble, and it does keep us busy.
One evening after my dinner, i pop one chewing gum into my mouth. I used to be very talkative - though now i not sure if i still am, have to inteview my friend if i'm still am. *chuckle*
So~ I chew and chew while I chat with my mum. I guess i chat too happily, so I took a Deep breath ready for the next line of my conversation and this is how things happen. I ACCIDENTALLY swollow the chewing gum.
Frantically I rush to my mum, telling her that i swallowed the gum. Well, she seems really calm and peaceful about it. I wonder if she really care about me. -_-!! At that time, I think i am going to be dead. The gum is going to be stuck in my stomach for the rest of my life, and there is nothing I can do about it!!
Anyway, nothing happens to me, so I guess it alright if you swallow a gum - provided you are lucky that it didn't stuck at your throat.

What I've been doing in Sitiawan

Every morning we always have heavy breakfast, most of the time we were eating "Kam Puan". It is a noodle similar to "Wan Tan Mee" we usually ate. Almost eating it everyday, the only difference is we always ate at different stall.

I also visit Pangkor Island where we have to ride a yatch at the Lumut dock. In order to snorkel, we need to rent a speed boat over to another very small piece of land near Pangkor Island. The boat rent is RM10 and the snorkel equipment only cost around RM5. It is very cheap. But, the water is not very clear. It is rather hard to see the fishes unless they are very close to you. The fishes here eats alot, many of them are rather chubby~ HaHa!!! After our snorkelling trip, we rent a Jet Ski which cost RM60 for 20 minutes. It was my first time playing a jet ski and I must say that if there are no wave or either the jet is not moving at full speed, it no fun at all. Of course, safety comes first. Whatever you do is at your own risk.

On christmas eve, I stayed at Marina Cove Resort. They actually put fireworks and everyone came out to their balcony and greet "Merry Christmas" to their neighbour. Of course, I'm busy taking photos. Haha!!! My cousins actually shouted across to say "Merry Christmas" -_-!!!

My favourite Roti Prata @ Kampong Acheh, Sitiawan Malaysia

My favourite roti prata stall is here. It is built on a swampy area. This photo is taken during low tide.

As I was taking pictures around and also my family who were enjoying the pratas here. The guy who flip the roti prata specially request me to help him take his picture as he demonstrate his very skillful roti prata flipping. The people here were friendly and prata uncle here is very skillful. Prata uncle flip until very big and the prata didn't even tear. The prata he made were delicious!! I even request him to flip another one as I didn't really have my camera settings set correctly. Everything is fast and I didn't really capture a very nice and stunning action.

Ah Ha! This is my favourite Kopi Cham Teh!! As you can see, the lighter tone of the drink is set at the lower half of the glass, this is the tea. And the darker tone at the top is the coffee. Move your straw and you can taste 2 different drinks at the same time. Stir it and you get your Kopi Cham. Isn't it Marvellous? The guy who made the drink is also very skillful, of cos it not our prata uncle who make this drink. He's busy flipping the pratas, remember?? Hehe!!

At Kampong Acheh, you can also prepare your tools and pail to dug the soil. You'll be able to find lots of clams, lala, earth worm, crabs and many more. The previous time when I go, there are many, this year we changed spot and we came back empty handed. This time we didn't wear our slipper and the feeling of your feet sink into the mud and feeling the 'THINGS' beneath you is something I am not able to describe. It was HOLY DISGUSTING!!! I can even smell the stink of drain and waste as I walk.

The mud is not very solid, every step you take, half of your legs actually sink and you have to keep walking before you sink more deeper. See the result of my leg?? This is call mud spa, I think it quite popular in japan. Well, you can do it at sitiawan and it Free of Charge!!

Bukit Engku Busu, Trekking at Lumut, Perak Malaysia

What you can do in Lumut is trekking~~ The hill is 331.4m and I can say that I'm very pathetic in this sport. The slopes were quite steep and they don't have steps for you to climb up like what we have in singapore's Bukit Timah hill. For places where the slopes are steeper, there is ropes tied nicely at the bark of trees and trekkers can pull the ropes so that it is easier to climb up. The entrance is free and there are no medical help or station.

only know that I am trekking a 331.4m hill. The rest I don't understand. Any volunteers to help me do the translation? Haha!!!

Before reaching the tip of the hill, there is one open area which I called the "cliff". There are no boundaries to prevent trekkers from falling. To climb this hill, trekkers have to take note that whatever you do are at your own risk. We can actually see the landmarks of Lumut in Perak. When you look down, everything is tiny, especially the vehicles. I don't think I am able to see any human walking at that height I am standing.

I was exhausted and pathetic after my whole journey of trekking for 1 hour. I'm the last one to reach the top, and also the last one to reach the bottom. Worst still, I got cuts on my hands and legs. Well.., compared to my little cousins and my mum, I'm the most pathetic feller. *Sobbie*

Everyone laughed at me >.< and reprimand me that being an adult, I'm so useless. This was my 3rd time trekking and it is also my first that I managed to climb to the top. Previously I always climb one third of it and gave up. This time I wanted to give up as I was really very exhausted, somehow I just slow down my pace and rest most of the time as I trek every step. Eventually, I managed to trek to the top. Nothing special at the top, just some communication station.

Pasir Panjang Segari beach, Perak Malaysia

A must visit in Perak is the Pasir Panjang Segari beach. This beach is preserved to protect the green turtles. It is rather hard to reach the beach, it took a lot of effort to locate the location as you tend to pass by many farms.

When you face the sea, you don't see any small islands at the other end. They are just big vast of sea. The beach is white and sandy, that is why this is a very nice place for the turtles to lay their eggs.

After the eggs are hatched, the little turtles are kept in a small pool. This is to make sure that as the turtles grows bigger, they will be able to protect themselves after they are released into the dangerous sea.

In the musem, it display the shells of the turtles.

I think this is the place where the people kept the eggs. They probably carry the eggs from the beach and place them in a safe area so that newly hatched turtles are safe from birds.

A memorable Lunch with my colleague

The sky is gray, and it is time for lunch. My friend(J) bought the umbrella along just in case. Decided to go for lunch at Maggie(Store name), with umbrellas in our hand, it can protect us from sun and rain.

I initated to hold the umbrella for my friend as we will be sharing it. As we walk towards our destination, ready to cross the road. Alrite, I'm holding the umbrella sheltering from the rain together with my friend(J) beside me. We wait for the cars to past before we can cross the road.

Suddenly, a strong wind blew and it started to pour heavily. As I'm standing where the wind direction is blowing, the umbrella can't shelter much. The wind is so strong that it hard to hold the umbrella properly, and my pants are getting wet!! Arg!!

So in the sudden flash in my mind, my body acted on it own. I ran back with the umbrella on my hand and forgotten about my friend who were still standing there. I don't know what happen to her, I only know I ran as fast as I could back to the shelter. By the time I am back to myself, I realise she was drenched!!! OMG, I totally forgotten abount her.

Ain't it sad for my friend? Awww. I'm very sorry about it. I forgot about her and let her caught in the heavy rain.

A message to her family and boyfriend "I'm Sorry if she get sick the next day, I really didn't mean it. >.<"

What Have I been Eating Lately~

September is a month of food feast for me. Why do I say that? This is because, I've been visiting resturants for lunch as well as dinner. I can @@ that my pockets got a big hole~

I have been wondering why do I always visit the ATM, well that's obvious. To withdraw cash. Cash keeps going out from my wallet, buy moon cake, eat and eat, play and play. That is why I didn't have enough to spare.

Last friday is my worst nightmare, went to get ice cream at Shaw Tower after lunch. Ordered my favourite ice cream, Granny's Favourite!! The other flavour, I choose Apple Pie to test. Hmm... while waiting for the guy to scoop my ice cream, I open my wallet, ready for payment. To my 3rd surprise and attack I ever encountered, there is no notes left over from the previous Korean lunch I had. Oh no~~

This is the 3rd time I've run out of notes, not even a $2. That's pathetic. Luckily, I'm with my colleagues and I have some coins with me. In my heart, I shouted: "THANK GOD" I don't have to tell this ice cream guy to wait for me because I don't have cash with me and need to withdraw some cash. Save the embarassment, but I didn't managed to save it in front of my colleagues.

After work, I went to marina square with antho to have dinner at Wataru. The displays of all the food they served attracted us, and so we decided to try it. So, he ordered spegatti and as for me, scallop pizza. All the portion were small, and as we ate we don't find it filling. As I ate the last 2nd piece of the pizza, I found a plastic in my cheese..

I complain to the server that there is a plastic in my food, then the matter was told to the manager. Later, the manager offered to replace by offering any item in the menu. So, we decided to go for another pizza since we were not that full. While waiting for the pizza, he offered a complimentary desert as an apology. We selected Orea Ice Cream and it was Yummy~~

We have so many food that our stomach is about to burst!! >.<
However, the resturant serves good service and attitude. I give a thumb up for the service and the quality of the food. Yummy~~

Gaming

Lately didn't go out and take pictures. Blog has been dead for quite some time. Recently I have been playing Ran Rosso, trying to catch up my level. The experience are so hard to gain, and I have to spend long hours playing it. Most of the previous players during my batch have already gone to level 150++, and I'm still stuck at level 136..

The other games that I have been playing is Crisis Core on the PSP. The graphic is great. Started a while, I wonder when I can complete the game. Sephiroth is so handsome!!! >.<

This Crisis Core from the Final Fantasy series is a little different from the rest. I'm a FF fan, and I have tried out the series from FF 7 to FF12 except the online version. What do I mean it different from the rest? The player only controls one character, the rest of the characters and summons were invoke like a jackpot system. It combat mode is similar to the one in FF12. But it a little waste that you can't summon the Monsters. The CG is great!! I love to watch the CG. NICE!!

Bought Spore and some chinese game as well. Too many games to play, not enough time to start all of them. The spore is cute too. I'm a carnivour in Spore, eat all the small creatures in the same planet, sounds as if I bully them. >.<

Basically the spore is similar to The Sims, you need to create and design your character. Later, you need to grow to either make friends or enemies. They start from a cell and slowly grow up into a monster. Then you will reach a tribe stage where you build your own clan to conquer other monsters' land. Well I only play till the tribe stage, as for the last 2 stage, I haven't try and test out yet.

Grrr.. My Final Fantasy 12 on PS2 also haven't complete yet! Have been playing for a few years already~ Some mobs have to hunt, gotta read the walkthrough and guides online. I find this game a little hard to play, maybe I don't have the skill and my characters are not strong enough. *Shrug*

Have you guys watch 12 Lotus? Another movie from Royston Tan. In this movie, we don't see so many fancy clothes as compared with 881. This is a very sad movie. The interesting part is that Stephanie Sun appeared as a special guest in this movie. This is the first movie she acted, I should say it not bad. There are many scene where they use items back in the 80s, especially the So da Pia~ They still use the metal casing box.

You will be shocked to see that our big time villian is actually Qi Yu Wu. Oh no~~ Why he's the one?? Want to know more? Watch it yourself, hehe~~

There's one part where his batman car was badly damaged, and later after some sort of activation, it turn into a bike. That was really cool. 2 face came into the movie as well, but did he really died or will there be a next batman series coming up? The movie is really great, it really worth 4.5 out of 5.

This is a very funny show. I watched it 3hrs ago. It not that bad, really had a great laugh. The movie poster is rather amusing too. I like the part where the main actor was handcuffed on the plane and he is trying to use the mini cross bow to cut. But, he end up piercing himself almost everywhere. The ball dance is also one of the most funny part, laugh until stomach ache. It has been quite some time for this kind of humorous movie to be out. Guys, we enjoyed today's gathering, don't we? Should meet up again.

I myself find that the story line is poor. Yes, there are some parts that are quite funny. The trailer consolidate the parts nicely and it makes us feels like that this show is worth to watch, but I don't find it so. How and why Hancock differentiates himself from the rest of the human, the story didn't elaborate more on it. I rate this movie 2 out of 5.

Bintan

Just came back from my Bintan trip. My whole body is aching.. Arg!! We book Bintan Lagoon Resorts and the rooms were beautiful. The hotel service were great too. Sadly, I didn't took any photos from the beach.

Yesterday was a great sunny day. We went swimming at the beach and afterwards, we went for banana boat ride. The capsize is the most exciting part of the whole banana ride, the first capsize we were thrown off into the sea. The man had a hard time pulling me and Miss Fong up, this is because we were too heavy. Haha! Coming to the end of our banana ride, the man actually wanted to give us a second capsize, but we girls just kept yelling and screaming when the man drive a little faster.

After our banana ride, we went kayaking. As we had odd numbers in our group, I had to kayak alone. So sad, have to kayak myself, it is so tiring. Well, we didn't pay for our kayaking activity. We didn't managed to ask for discounts, so they give us complimentary for our kayaking. We had fun and had a great time playing. As for me, I was way too hungry after playing so many activities. This is because I didn't had my breakfast since I wake up at 5.30am and we had cup noodles for lunch at 2pm. Play and play, no need to eat already. haha!!

In the late afternoon, the girls went for a spa. And for me, I stay at the hotel watching tv programmes and sleep like a log~ So, something happen to Miss Mimi after the spa treatment. Sadly, I'm wasn't there to watch. Haha. What I heard from them is that spa were great, maybe I should try it if I had the chance again.

What's for dinner?

We had buffet dinner at Bintan Lagoon hotel. The food is so-so and it is quite expensive, around $50++ per pax. We were quite boring and decided to go walk around. Amused by the sheesha displayed inside the pub, we decided to walk in and give it a try. We ordered the strawberry flavour and everyone take turns to pose for pictures and smoke. That was really very funny and many who walked past us kept looking and wondered what we are doing. We smoke for a very long time and it don't seems to finish, smoke till I find that I had a little hard time breathing.

Everyone were tire, so we decided to buy take away beers and play heart attack in the room. My hands were painful due to the sun burnt I had during the day, with the additional of heart attack game, my hand hurts more.

When girls starts to play heart attack, don't ever let your guard down. This is becuase they will not let you go easily. At the end of the game, my hands were burning red, reminds me of lobster. Sob~

I bought heineken and it is so gassy.. Can't even finish 1 can. Drink half of it and then brush my teeth. And off I go to sleep. ZZzzzzz...

What happens Today?

It was pouring in the morning, we thought we might have to miss our snorkelling trip. Luckily at 10.30am, the rain has stopped and we can go snorkelling~ I prepared my disposable water sport camera.

So, what happens at the sea? When we were snorkelling halfway, our Miss Mimi starts to feel nauseous. and after that, unknown white substance flow out from her mouth. OMG!! She VOMITTED!!! Oh no!!! To the fishes in the sea, SWIM FOR YOUR LIFES.

After our snorkelling trip, we went to Oleh Oleh pasar. Nothing much to shop and it is very far away from our hotel.

So, what am I doing up there? Posing a picture with the mask. Haha!!

Our little kitten here is so cute, I just want to bring it home. From the picture, the kitten looks big. In fact, it is actually very tiny and it looks very fragile. My friends and I love it.

Overall, we had a great time together. The only thing is that there are very limited things you can do in Bintan, and the good thing is, you don't have to change currency. The bad thing is, everything is expensive as they charge you in Singapore dollars. I personally think that spending 2 days is more than enough.

Those who likes adventures or water sports should go for the banana ride, or snorkelling. You can also swim or kayak if you want, and also jet ski. But jet ski is very expensive, inflation of petrol? I'm not sure though. There are spa, massaging service, as well as visiting orang utan or komodo dragon. It rather hard to travel around as resorts are surrounded by forest. Unless you book a cab, and they will drive you to whichever place you want to go.

Currently I'm playing this game. Saturday I almost went hamock playing this game. This is because, I keep using one slot to save my game, then what happen? Everytime I enter my saved game, it the boss stage.Then, I didin't have enough HP potion and MP potion.

6 characters fighting against one boss. All my characters collapsing one by one and I've to restart the boss stage for 5-6 times. I was thinking, next day I probably had to restart the whole game. -_-!! So.., Sunday I try my luck again. Tthank god, I managed to win the boss. WOhoooo!! I decided to continue the game today, but sadly, I'm not able to play. Sob~~

Night Safari

Last sunday I went to the Singapore Night Safari with my boyfriend. It was my first time visiting the Night Safari, we reached rather early and the doors only opens at 7pm. So, we just hang around and then there were tribe dance organized by the zoo as well as photo-taking session with the snake. Of cos it not free. The tribe were like dancing from spot to spot from 6.45pm until I've finish watching the animal show at the open air theatre at 10.30pm.

It seems like every animal you visited, there were only 1 or 2 of them. It rather hard to see during the night, the pavement were relatively dark with little lamps. We went to an enclosed area to see squirel and fruit bats. Inside were very dark and to me, the area looks very eriee to me. Luckily there were more visitors entering the area, that means I don't have to worry so much. When we were exploring the fruit bat area, the fruit bat was flying around at low heights. Ahhh!! Then what happens? The people in front of us were screaming as well, and surprisingly, there were 2 guys in front of us, and know what? They were holding hands. And so I am pondering, were they afraid of the bats or were they gay?

There were this animal which I can't remember it name, the description board says that it gives out a smell of popcorn and pandan leaves. Well I did smell something fragrance which is very close to pandan leaves, but there were no popcorn smell at all. Maybe if we bring that animal to the movies, then we can smell both popcorn and pandan leaves. *chuckles*

Most of the areas, I can't really spot where the animals are, the zoo uses very dim spot light and some animals hides at a corner. Then it was time for the animal show, we queued for a very long time and we managed to find a very nice view where we were seated. The hosts seems a little agressive and rough, she invited volunteers on stage. Though the atmosphere and the show were not bad, she seems a little rude to them.

Overall, it a whole brand new experience at the night safari. 3 cheers to the mosquitos that had bite me. Arg...

Watched this movie last sunday. It seems like I spend my weekends watching movies. haha!! If you haven't watch the first series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, you should watch it first. If not, you wouldn't know where the lion came from, and also how the 4 leading actors and actresses enter to another world beyong their imagination.

I've never read the books, maybe one day I should go and read it. In this movie, I find the prince a bit useless, he can't fight well. Practically leaving the 4 main characters and narnia the lion to do the war fighting. The most amusing part is, trees and water can fight. Hehe!!

Watch this movie last saturday. The movie is interesting, it about love, friends as well as fashions. Recently there's an advertisement on Coke Light featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, I didn't know that she was the main actress in the movie. And there I was thinking why this woman is in the advertisement, because in that advertisement, she's not very pretty. Not until I watch the movie, then only I realise that she is indeed the one inside the movie as well as the advertisement. Inside the movie, I like the wedding gown she wear. They were beautiful and she looks awsome.

Went to watch Jenny Tseng with my mum, my mum's a big fan of her. We were seated at the cheapest seats, can't afford the $168 tickets. Glad that I'm still able to take down the pictures from far. Most of the time I don't know what she's singing. haha!! Because I don't belong to that generation.

I have to admit her voice is fantastic. Probably next year will be the last year she will be holding her concert in singapore, since her daughter will be graduating from her final year in fashion design. Well, the peacock dress Jenny is wearing were designed by her daughter. Nice and sexy!

This monkey looks like it is thinking, just like human being. I guess they don't like to be kept in the zoo, no freedom at all.

At one point, we saw something on the floor, everyone thought it was a snake and nobody dares to walk pass which leads to the exit. Everyone were just screaming and jumping around. (me also screamed a bit) LOL. Cos I really thought it is a cobra. It was on the floor and it is not moving. Later, we realise that there are scorpian as well. Well they are just cemented graving just to beautify the place. After we walk to the exist, everyone were drenched. One thing i realise, the so call cobra has big head but short body. Here we are~~, this used to be my grandparents house. Every year we will come pay a visit, but now the house has been demolished and we have move to another place to stay. It very sad to see the house standing alone in the area.

Here used to be a plot of rubble planatations, but now everything has been swipe out to an empty land.

At night, we always used to see lots of big size lizards. But now even the window has been removed, everything has been hammered to this current state. Anyway, this used to be the living room. Last time, we used to find that our house is very big, but everytime we return to visit the house again. It seems so small.

In order to survive, even the floor are cracked due to the growing of the weeds and grass.

This is our favourite toilet, why is it our favourite toilet? See the knot at the right side?
It is use for us to close the door from the outside. If not the zinc door will be widely open. haha. When a person goes to the toilet, we have a lock from the inside for us to lock our door. But then for the naughty one, we like to turn the knot so that the person inside will be locked from the inside. haha..

A visit to Nature Park

At Perak Sitiwan, there is a nature park preserved by the government. The Monkey land. Can't remember the park name. But the whole place is full of Monkeys and they are wild. So if you are to visit the place, it best that you don't bring any food. Do not try to provoke them as they are wild animals and not like the one we have in singapore zoo. The good news is that this place is free of charge even parking fee is free too!!!

Once you walk into the far end of the park, there will be no monkey as they like to crowd around at the entrance as they know their souce of food comes from the visitors. The last time I visit this place, the bridge are not well built. Now they have improve alot of the wooden planks as well as the entrance.

On my way to pangkor Island

On my way to Pangkor Island, so i just snap some pictures and enjoy a sunny day. In order to reach Pangkor Island, you need to go to Lumut which is West of Malaysia. Buy a ticket, board the ship and off you go to Pangkor!!!

Before reaching our station, the ship stop at another island. I can't remember the name. But there are alot of people staying in this island. Many of them use the December long holiday to visit family and relatives.

Upon arriving Pangkor Island, you can book a taxi van. The taxi is very interesting, because they are PINK in colour. Too bad I didn't take a shot of the taxi. So there are actually a number of place to visit in Pangkor. We visit one of the temple there and up the hill, there is a very big stone which painted "Yuan" in chinese. Don't really know how to explain it.

This top down view is taken after climbing up to the hill where the big stone is situated. I think I climb around 15mins?? I also can't remember. But the view is indeed spectacular. You should also come and visit.

Happy Children Day, that's wat I receive in the morning when i on my hp. Realise I no longer a child. So Sadddd~~~ Cos I won't be able to receive any goodies. Awww~~~ Being in pri and sec school life was great!! Alot of holidays... Muahah.. Though I'm no longer a child, but to my parent, I'm ALWAYS A CHILD!!! Muahaha!!!! But they don't give me anythin on children day... Hmph!!! Wish everyone a HaPpY cHiLdReN dAy!!! Yippie!!!!!

Went to eat New York New York recently, new resturant open at city link. Try the aglio olio and green apple dun noe wat drink. Can't remb.. Though the portion a little small, but the food nt bad, And it a little expensive too... Anyway, i enjoy the company wit mao...
